Terms of Service

By creating an account or using MyPCS Assistant ("the app"), you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose — please actually read them.

What the app is (and is not)

MyPCS Assistant generates planning timelines, checklists, and document trackers for Permanent Change of Station moves. It is an independent planning aid. It is:

  • Not official guidance. The app is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Department of Defense, any military service, or any U.S. Government agency.
  • Not authoritative. Entitlements, deadlines, and requirements vary by service, orders, and duty station, and they change. Always verify anything that matters with your orders, your transportation office, your finance office, and the Joint Travel Regulations. If the app and your orders disagree, your orders win.
  • Not legal, financial, or tax advice.

Your account

  • You are responsible for your login credentials and for what happens under your account.
  • You must be at least 18 to use the app.
  • Practice good operational security: the app does not need — and asks you not to enter — classified information, unit movement details, or anything beyond your own household's planning needs.

Acceptable use

Don't attempt to access other users' data, probe or disrupt the service, upload malicious files, or use the app to send spam. We may suspend accounts that do.

Your content

Data you enter and files you upload remain yours. You grant us only the license needed to store and display them back to you. You can delete everything at any time from Settings — see the Privacy Policy.

Availability and warranty

The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not guarantee either. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of your use of the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (currently: zero, as the app is free).

Changes and termination

We may update these terms; material changes will be noted in the app. You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States.
